I need a new trucker hat... my old one finally fell apart on me. I'm feelin lonesome and blue. I have some serious sorrows, no pill can cure this pain. There is no doubt this redneck boy, is udderly insane...

This past Sunday evening I learned an important lesson - I am not a college student anymore and can no longer pull all nighters and function somewhat normally the next day.
How to finish a blues song is nothing like how to finish a blues name.

Developing a blues name, what is your man? Picking the right last name is essential. It is officially okay to use your own last name, unless you are trying to be anonymous, then you should pick a different last name. For example, Bleeding Gums Avocado Delavorius is not as bluesy as Bleeding Gums Avocado Monroe, or maybe not. In this category, some leeway is given when developing a great blues name.

Happy national doctor's day. I am glad we have doctors, I really am, but don't you feel used and abused sometimes by your physician.
Developing a blues name, what is your fruit?

We developed some great blues names foundations in part 1 of developing your blues name. The second part of any great blues name . There are several thousand good fruit names that you can pick to help develop your blues name. Picking the wrong fruit, or possibly misidentifying a vegetable as a fruit could lead you down the wrong blues path. Selecting a succulent and tasty fruit will give those who hear your blues name, the impression that you are the real deal!

I am actually going to take a day off of my blog regarding how I came to love the blues, to give you my first featured blues artist. This bluesman in my humble opinion is by far the most underrated blues guitarist that I have heard.
Developing a blues name, what is your affliction

When developing your blues name you must take great care to do so in the correct way. Although there are great blues musicians who do not follow the law of blues members naming, most great bluesmen follow the creating a blues name rules.

The summer of 1990, is a summer that I will never forget. I had just received my license to be an EMT and I was working 2 jobs starting to put my self through school. During the summer, there were a lot of hours open to work on the ambulance, and an opportunity to work first aid at Alpine Valley, in East Troy Wisconsin. During concerts the concert promoters hired groups of firemen and EMT’s from local fire departments to man the first aid tents. Each of the EMT’s and firemen would be able to get in for free, and possibly have an opportunity to see some of the band. Well, the second part never happened, usually because there were too many people partying a little to hard.

In 1988, I had the great fortune to be a part of the U.S. Army, stationed in Fort Hood Tx. During the time I was stationed there, I had the opportunity to be in a band called Section 8. It was during this time I started to learn the bass guitar, and learn about playing with other band members.

In 1982, I was given the cheapest guitar that you could ever imagine. My mother paid either 5 or 10 dollars for it at a garage sale. To say that she over paid was an understatement. If you are a guitar player, you can understand, there are times when a guitar needs to be mercifully killed rather than sold, and this one should have been killed, but it found its way into my hands. It was a classical guitar that was strung with steel strings, in an era before truss rods were put on all guitars. Needless to say, it played real hard.

This is the first post in the Blues Blog.
I might as well develop a blog about the blues and our great website. This blog will be about great stories, contests and other bloggable offenses from Burlap and Blues. I will share some stories about journeys I have taken, and maybe share some stories from you if you would all like.
Don't get too impatient waiting for me to post the next blog, because I have already posted it. Thanks for visiting.
Ken
