I am very aware of road construction. I notice that the main highway that I take to get to Guitar Center is under construction. I will have to take back roads to get to the BOTB (FKA KOT competition. I will have to plan an additional 30 minutes or so of road time...

Do this for fun first.

I hope that you enjoyed or laughed at the last 12 videos. Over the past few years, this one is still one of my top 5 favorites, and I would be wrong not adding it to the end of this years group.

A ton of people could take a lesson from this one. That's a fun take

It was a year ago we were all buzzing about entering KOTB 2009. Well 2009 is gone, and 2010's KOTB is almost over also. Again, GC, I wonder what if any the buzz is on the internets about who will win this year. Not sure that a slide player should ever take it, but then again, maybe they should.

I am trying to get a collection started of KOTB 2009 - 2010 videos to post my own comments about... There are certainly some very funny videos out there!

When it started there were about 5,000 now there are about 1,000 people set to play tomorrow night.

Then there will be 214 left standing, give or take a few. I have never stayed to watch a store finals, but the videos I have seen have been pretty impressive.

I will not be telling people who won in Rockford until later in the day on Friday as I will be uploading videos of all of the competitors tomorrow.

In 2009, Guitar center brought back King of the Blues. Following that announcement, Burlap and Blues saw a 750% increase in traffic mostly searching for "Guitar center" or "King of the blues." This year we have only seen a 200% increase in searching for the same terms.

Unfortunately I do beleive that the overall interest in this contest has significantly. With searches for King of the Blues bringing up mostly articles about last year, there is only one site, and one forum in the top 10 search results. With the changes to Harmony Central's site, I could not find any forums or articles about KOTB, but I do know they exist.

What I am trying to say is maybe I have a shot this year because all the good competition is up and left...
