Happy Anniversary BAB blog!
By KenBJammen on Mar 26, 2010 | In News
One year ago we started our Blues Blog. Thanks to everyone who has supported our blog and to those who spam us with comments, and to those who make actual comments that make sense! We have reviewed some guitars, pedals and have had other non-blues related stuff too. I look forward to another year here at the BAB blog. If you are interested in becoming a guest blogger at the Blues Blog, just send me a note and I would be more than happy to get some info to you.
My Blues Journey – Finally playing the blues.

In late January 2007, I was visiting the local Guitar Center looking to purchase a small PA for some upcoming small shows and noted all of the signage relating to their 2007 King of The Blues Contest. Having recently placing in the top 5 of the winter 2006 Johnathan Coulton Code Monkey Remix contest, I decided that I could go forward and enter the contest. They took all of my information and gave me a CD and I was set that I was going to enter this contest and do well.

Developing a blues name, what is your man? Picking the right last name is essential. It is officially okay to use your own last name, unless you are trying to be anonymous, then you should pick a different last name. For example, Bleeding Gums Avocado Delavorius is not as bluesy as Bleeding Gums Avocado Monroe, or maybe not. In this category, some leeway is given when developing a great blues name.

We developed some great blues names foundations in part 1 of developing your blues name. The second part of any great blues name . There are several thousand good fruit names that you can pick to help develop your blues name. Picking the wrong fruit, or possibly misidentifying a vegetable as a fruit could lead you down the wrong blues path. Selecting a succulent and tasty fruit will give those who hear your blues name, the impression that you are the real deal!

I am actually going to take a day off of my blog regarding how I came to love the blues, to give you my first featured blues artist. This bluesman in my humble opinion is by far the most underrated blues guitarist that I have heard.
