Stompbox Rental?

Just came across a very interesting idea on the interwebs. Boutique stompbox rental.

I really like the idea of renting that high end boutique effect for a week to see if it plays nice with my other effects and then returning it if it does not work. It seems really hard to put out a couple hundred bucks just to find out that the pedal doesn't play well with either your guitar or amp.
During my searches I noted a company on the other side of the big pond doing this. Stock pedals were renting for under $10/week, boutique between $10 - $25 per week and some bigger named items for $50 per week. I sent these guys an email asking how they handled late returns, etc.
I wish these guys well in their business, and when I rent one I will tell you all about my experience.
Road Contruction Awareness week.

I am very aware of road construction. I notice that the main highway that I take to get to Guitar Center is under construction. I will have to take back roads to get to the BOTB (FKA KOT
competition. I will have to plan an additional 30 minutes or so of road time...

Yes, now more than ever. Look at a HIGH END boutique effect to really make this a true statement. A Pedals By Tone OD can make a tube amp sing. That is really how it is in 2012.
