I'm down almost all my pedals and amps.   Stopped by Dave's Guitar in Lacrosse Wisconsin.  It was nice visiting the guitar museum.  I sat and stared at a Les Paul that Mary Ford played and dreamed about a day where things were much simpler and a woman didn't need to have a collection of 300 guitars.

Gosh, I feel like I neglect everyone recently.

Been totally engrossed in schooling when I can.   Had 16 credits last semester while working 50 hours per week, hosting an open mic, regular church attendance, caring for a dying aunt and a rest of the jiggy crap.

Have had some health issues that are unresolved

But on a lighter note, have had the opportunity for some great new gear trades.  Have a Kemper coming this week got on trade.  If this is what it is hyped up to be, I am going to keep a few pedals and the vox ac30 as a back up and sell everything else.

Got a stupid deal on a nash 12 string telecaster style guitar. Had the opportunity to get the 12 string or 6 string at a stupid price.   Good guitar, but don't quite think the Nash name is all that it is hyped up to be.  Don't get me wrong, it is good, but it's not, throw out your fender custom shops and get these good.

Open mic has been totally frustrating.  In January had a singer drop a mic and bust it and then ask me if I was going to give him extra time because the equipment didn't work.  Last time the owners son was sitting where we put up our stage and didn't want to move so I could set up.  Kind of wonder if I want to put so much into this right now.

Haven't heard from the devil, although the logs say he checked in in the past three months.  Who knows what that means.

Peace to you alL!

General Discussion / website updates etc..

I apologize that I didn't remember to put the update here.  The server in florida was hacked sometime with a time bomb hack.  The hack was released in  early 2014 and sat dormant until last month.  At some point it started sending out spam and the shut the offending script down, etc..

There once was a pimp who didn't allow any of his girls to do oral.  You may have heard of "The Headless Whores-man".

From a college Jazz History text:

The piano players like Drag Nasty, Black Pete, Sore Dick, and Tony Jackson were playing the whorehouses.

How did Sore Dick get his name?

Labor day weekend was a long one.   Spent all day Saturday getting fit for a tux for my daughters wedding.  No fun and stupid expensive.  It will be $300 to rent a tux for a day.  Stinking highway robbery.

Sunday we had our second annual jam at the lake event.   This year the timing was much much better.  We had boats from the other side of the lake come over and anchor to listen to the music.   Didn't have enough lead time to get ready though, and only had 3 hours of music lined up.

2 different neighbors came to praise us for the music.   Asked us to play all night long.

Next year will be better yet
