Amplifiers / Re: Chuckinator5k NAD Before Yesterday

I love the tone of tube amps... but sold them all and went Kemper.  NO pedals, no amps, quick and easy set ups.
I've been seeing that thing advertised, hadn't checked it out until now. Very interesting! My question is, can you get a nice singing feedback from it? Nothing digital that I've used will do that like a good overdriven tube amp. I bought a Line 6 Firehawk (like a dumbass), it can get feedback but not the singing kind you can get from a tube amp. Also have a Helix. Haven't touched them in a long time. I've been loving me some tube amps. Still have my Egnater Renegade and 2x12 cab. It will do the beautiful feedback thing as will my Mesa Boogie 50 Caliber, Fender Deluxe Tweed and Two Rock Cardiff. Speaking of feedback, I watched Steve Vai at the Iridium on PBS night before last. He uses lots of beautiful feedback.

Absolutely more responsive than any tube amp that I have ever owned.   Yes able to get amazing long music feedback.  Just trying to find some videos I did.  Yes the firehawk is a serious dud.

Here's a few clips of me playing.  You should be able to see them without logging in to facebook.  Let me know if not.

My goodness.  I have not checked on BAB for months.   It's great to hear from you Chuck, and I am sorry about your mother.

I'm down almost all my pedals and amps.   Stopped by Dave's Guitar in Lacrosse Wisconsin.  It was nice visiting the guitar museum.  I sat and stared at a Les Paul that Mary Ford played and dreamed about a day where things were much simpler and a woman didn't need to have a collection of 300 guitars.

Gosh, I feel like I neglect everyone recently.

Been totally engrossed in schooling when I can.   Had 16 credits last semester while working 50 hours per week, hosting an open mic, regular church attendance, caring for a dying aunt and a rest of the jiggy crap.

Have had some health issues that are unresolved

But on a lighter note, have had the opportunity for some great new gear trades.  Have a Kemper coming this week got on trade.  If this is what it is hyped up to be, I am going to keep a few pedals and the vox ac30 as a back up and sell everything else.

Got a stupid deal on a nash 12 string telecaster style guitar. Had the opportunity to get the 12 string or 6 string at a stupid price.   Good guitar, but don't quite think the Nash name is all that it is hyped up to be.  Don't get me wrong, it is good, but it's not, throw out your fender custom shops and get these good.

Open mic has been totally frustrating.  In January had a singer drop a mic and bust it and then ask me if I was going to give him extra time because the equipment didn't work.  Last time the owners son was sitting where we put up our stage and didn't want to move so I could set up.  Kind of wonder if I want to put so much into this right now.

Haven't heard from the devil, although the logs say he checked in in the past three months.  Who knows what that means.

Peace to you alL!

General Discussion / website updates etc..

I apologize that I didn't remember to put the update here.  The server in florida was hacked sometime with a time bomb hack.  The hack was released in  early 2014 and sat dormant until last month.  At some point it started sending out spam and the shut the offending script down, etc..

There once was a pimp who didn't allow any of his girls to do oral.  You may have heard of "The Headless Whores-man".
