Has anyone here ever used a Boosta Grande? How did you like it?

yes. not crazy about it. it is really big (footprint) and i have much better clean boosts. of course, the boosta grande is free, so that can be an advantage.

my favorite is the xotic ep boost, although that colors the sound, but in a very good way. the 7 sisters boost is very transparent, and has the smallest footprint of any pedal, plus a rechargeable lithium ion battery included. it will do 50-100 hours on a single charge.

I had a Boosta Grande on my pedalboard for awhile.

It seemed to be an OK boost.   Nothing against it, I just wanted to use a second OD in place of it.  I'm happier with that arrangement.

Tony at PBT makes a clean boost that does 30DB barely colors the tone.  Pretty even boost 20hz - 20,000 hz.

The boosta Grande I had fell apart.
Does anyone ever read these things.  I have some guitars, some amps and some effects but none of them play the guitar for me.... Yet.

Thanks for the info guys. I checked out a few clips of some different pedals. The Xotic ep boost sounds best in the clips I heard.

I've got a boosta grande. No issues with it, it's slightly bigger than normal sized pedals but seems solidly built. Using it with no OD in front doesn't seem to color the tone much to me.

Just ordered the Xotic ep boost. Should be here in a few days.  :)
