i am so glad that I bombed!

did an open mic this afternoon and had a few new songs I wrote.  Bombed terribly, wrote them in a key I couldn't sing.  On a positive note, there was only 3 people there.   Other open mics rock to suck at!

Does anyone ever read these things.  I have some guitars, some amps and some effects but none of them play the guitar for me.... Yet.

In Laura's band, she is not bashful about using keys that are good for her voice.  Some in Ab, F#, C#.  I have to stay on my toes and not fall into guitar autopilot-- assuming the key is E,A,G,D.  Use capo on a few.
