How to add graphics to guitar top (not decals or stickers) ??
« on: November 06, 2015, 03:24:45 PM »
So, I was thinking about personalizing the top of one of my guitars with a graphic. It's a "slightly arched" solid spruce top with a glossy finish.

I love the way a plain stamped/stenciled looking graphic looks. Don't want to put a sticker or a decal. I'd rather not sand and paint. Does anyone know of a method, maybe like a screen printing type process, that would work on finished wood?

Aside from air brushing, I don't know anything that would work.  Trying to silk screen on an arch top would be a nightmare.  My advice would be to find someone who doe's air brushing on hot rods and pay him a few bucks to do it.
They call it the Blues, but the shit makes me SMILE!
