Does anyone ever read these things. I have some guitars, some amps and some effects but none of them play the guitar for me.... Yet.

There's a great U2b vid that has BB, Jeff Beck, Clapton, Albert Collins and Buddy Guy. Buddy tried to steal the show, BB (who was the host) was very gracious. The first thing Albert Collins did when he walked on stage was turn up his amp.

I saw that some time ago or something similar. Why does everyone turn up their amp louder than everyone else?

I think it's because amps have knobs. I guess it's the same from the garage to the big time!
