what if

If you could have any guitar to add to your collection what would it be.

I am Jones for a moderne
Does anyone ever read these things.  I have some guitars, some amps and some effects but none of them play the guitar for me.... Yet.

It would be some sort of quality arch-top. I've always wanted 1 but been too cheap to thick slice the cheese.

Something like a lefty Gibson L5.
I have been fortunate enough to get a great bite of the Apple of Life. One thing I know for sure. Watch out for the Worms!

1956 Les Paul Gold top W/ stock P90s, and no crack in the headstock.  Not a re-issue either, although if you have a 1968 re-issue, the address is......
They call it the Blues, but the shit makes me SMILE!

I'm seriously having a problem coming down to a single guitar.

I'm right there with you on the '56 p90 Goldtop.   For a guitar to gig with, a reissue would be just fine!

The guitar I'm most jonesin for this minute would be a small body Martin, like a 000-28, or an OM.

(By the way, if you get a chance to see the Joe Bonamassa Acoustic at Vienna Opera House-- don't miss it!)

But seriously, I have a fairly modest guitar collection, so many guitars I would like to add.   I could pretty easily crank out a list of 5 or 10.

I'd pick whatever the most expensive guitar out there is, just so I could sell it and add a whole lot more than one to my collection  ;)
